On Tuesday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the THS Auditorium, the Thunderbird Jazz Bands will perform in concert with 1994 Thunderbird Graduate, pianist and jazz composer Rachel Eckroth. Rachel has spent the past five years performing and writing in New York, where she has performed with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Rachel recently returned to the Phoenix area and has written a new piece for Jazz I entitled "Beyond the Sky." The concert will also feature the Mountain Sky Middle School Jazz bands. Twirl-Pom-Cheer-Flag & Dance
Competition. For their efforts, the guard earned opportunity to march in the Fiesta Bowl Parade on Saturday, December 30th. Congratulations to Mrs. Cleis and the entire THS Guard! The parade began at 11am. on Central and Bethany Home Road and ended at 7st and Indian School, at the Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center. A good time was had by all. |
